Bookings

Sending a quote request through this website is not a confirmed booking. A booking exists once we have agreed the work, the estimated hours and the rate.

Work is charged as the package agreed at booking, currently $75, $120 or $200 and up, with discounted rates available for ten-hour and monthly arrangements. Estimates are given in good faith; if a job is going to run longer than estimated I will tell you before it does, not afterwards.

Purchases made on your behalf

The package covers my time only. Anything bought for you — groceries, dry cleaning, postage, parking, prescription costs — is separate and is reimbursed by you. Receipts are provided for everything.

How purchases are funded is agreed before the work begins.

Cancellations

Please give as much notice as you can if you need to cancel or move a booking. Cancellation terms for a confirmed booking are those agreed in writing for that booking.

Access to your home or property

Where the work requires access, you are responsible for arranging it lawfully and for telling me anything I need to know to be safe and effective — alarms, animals, stairs, hazards. Keys and access codes are used only for the agreed work.

What is not covered

This is a concierge and errand service. It does not include medical care, personal or hands-on care, nursing, childcare, legal or financial advice, or any service requiring a license I do not hold. Anything unsafe or unlawful will be declined.

Travel booking

Where I help with travel, I research and make bookings on your behalf using your own accounts and payment methods, as your assistant. Reservations are made in your name and the contract for any travel is between you and the airline, hotel or supplier. I am not a travel agency and do not sell travel.

Liability

I take reasonable care in everything I do for you. To the fullest extent the law allows, liability is limited to the fees paid for the work concerned, and does not extend to indirect or consequential loss.
