Laundry and dry cleaning
The Whole Round Trip,
Not Half of It
Most of the work in laundry is not the washing. It is the carrying, the timing, the second trip back to the cleaners on Thursday because you forgot on Tuesday.
I do the round trip. It leaves your house and it comes back finished, and you do not think about it in between.
Laundromat runs
For anyone without a machine, or for the loads that will not fit in one — comforters, curtains, bedding after guests.
Dry cleaning
Dropped off and collected, on hangers, with the ticket handled. Your cleaner or one I know.
Delicates and instructions
Tell me what is hand-wash, what must not go in a dryer, and which detergent. It will be followed.
Bedding turnaround
Strip, wash, and remake. Particularly worth it before or after visitors.
Regular or occasional
A standing weekly pickup, or a one-off before people arrive.
