Hello — I’m
Charetta Parker

Ten years in Army supply, and a lifetime of being the one who helps. Pink Lady is what happened when I put those two things together.

The Army part

Seventy-Six Papa

That was my MOS for ten years in the United States Army — 76P, Materiel Control and Accounting Specialist.

Supply. Stock control. Knowing what we had, what we were short of, where it was, and getting it to the person who needed it before it became a problem. Ten years of it, and the Army is not gentle about teaching you to do it right.

People sometimes look surprised when I say that is the background for an errand service. It is the most natural thing in the world. Take the list, find the things, get them where they are going, account for every one of them. I have been doing that job my whole adult life. The only difference is that now the list is yours.

Why I Started This

I have always been the one people call. The friend who takes you to the airport at five in the morning. The one who picks up the prescription, waits for the engineer, drives your mother to her appointment.

At some point I realised that the thing I did for free because I could not help myself was a thing people badly needed and could not find. So I made it a business, and I put my own name behind it.

What you can count on

How I Work

Four things I can promise, because they are entirely within my control.

I turn up

On the day, at the time. If something goes wrong you will hear it from me early, not afterwards, and not as an excuse.

I tell you the truth about time

If a job will take three hours I will say three hours, not two. If it turns out shorter you pay for shorter.

Your business is your business

What is in your house, your fridge, your calendar or your mail does not get discussed with anyone. Ever.

Every receipt comes back

Anything I spend on your behalf is accounted for down to the cent. That habit is ten years old and I am not losing it now.

It is one person, and that person is me. When you call, that is who you get. When somebody shows up at your door, that is who shows up.
